Revealed-Claim the Blood for Yourself

What happens when we claim the blood of Jesus for ourselves? Under the Old Covenant in order to access God and enter the Holy of Holys it required a blood offering. But now that is not the case.

Hebrews 9 11-14 The Heavenly Pattern of Worship

11But now the Anointed One has become the King-Priest of every wonderful thing that has come.  For he serves in a greater, more perfect heavenly tabernacle not made by men, that is to say, not a part of this creation. 12And he has entered once and forever into the Holiest Sanctuary of All, not with the blood of animal sacrifices, but the sacred blood of his own sacrifice. And he alone has made our salvation  secure forever!

13Under the old covenant the blood of bulls, goats, and the ashes of a heifer were sprinkled on those who were defiled and effectively cleansed them outwardly from their ceremonial impurities. 14Yet how much more will the sacred blood of the Messiah thoroughly cleanse our consciences! For by the power of the eternal Spirit he has offered himself to God as the perfect Sacrifice that now frees us from our dead works to worship and serve the living God.

Is this why evil is so fascinated with blood? At that time the worshippers of Molech and Baal would cut themselves to offer these entities blood. Animals and even children were offered and still are. Elijah showed them the futility of this practice, but they were blind to the truth.

First Kings 18 27-29 Elijah on Mount Carmel

27At noon Elijah began to taunt them, saying, “Shout louder, for he is a god! Perhaps he is deep in thought, or occupied, or on a journey. Perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened!” 28So they shouted louder and cut themselves with knives and lances, as was their custom, until the blood gushed over them. 29Midday passed, and they kept on raving until the time of the evening sacrifice. But there was no response; no one answered, no one paid attention.…

What happens when we follow the true King and step out in faith? Here is what happened next.

First Kings 18 30-40

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Israel shall be your name.” 32 Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, “Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.” 34 Then he said, “Do it a second time,” and they did it a second time; and he said, “Do it a third time,” and they did it a third time. 35 So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water.

36 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. 37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.”

38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”

40 And Elijah said to them, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.

The real point is that man was created in God’s image. By man offering his blood to these entities it is a picture of God offering His blood for the sake of corruption. As it says in Genesis we are created in His image and have dominion over the Earth. By these men making these sacrifices they were trading dominion for power. Short lived and they feared the Lord and would not show themselves. The wages of sin are death, and they were paid in full. Remember we are made in His Image.

Genesis 1-12-28

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that [h]moves on the earth.”

The blood of Jesus was offered to the real King from the real King. His blood crushed the false offerings of evil men forever. Though men still trade blood for power to these entities it is a short-lived illusion sold to them by the father of lies.

So, when we claim the blood of Jesus we share in His crucifixion and resurrection and become a new creation. We partake in the crushing of this counterfeit representation of the truth.

Galatians 2:20-21 TPT

My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine! So that is why I don’t view God’s grace as something peripheral. For if keeping the law could release God’s righteousness to us, then Christ would have died for nothing.

The old system is dead for the Anti Church. They have lost. Claim your place at the table with the King of Kings and experience His Reality.
