The necessity of freedom

My prayer life lately has been focusing on relationship with Jesus. I am just trying to literally hang out with Him. I’ve got better at it. Still a long ways to go.

Of course Jesus has taken this time to pose some questions. On of the big ones has been about what happened because of the crucifixion? All of my life I have heard how Jesus died for my sins. Why did He do it? Has mankind comprehended the outlandish nature of the gift?

When God gives us something it cant be taken back. God gave the garden to Adam. Adam surrendered it. So how do we get it back? Jesus revealed to me that He fulfilled the contractual requirements of nonintervention in the family of Adam by God by, becoming a man and son of Adam. By meeting the legal requirements, Jesus as a son of Adam took it back. Most people understand this in principle. But the understanding of nonintervention is misunderstood. God is required to not intervene for the biggest reason of all. Our right to chose.

All the reasons we have been taught in regards to the crucifixion are true but, the biggest reason is our right to chose. Jesus chose to be on the cross, He chose to honor the Father, He chose to obey. God did not intervene. He did not reinforce Jesus will. In short salvation was Gods idea and Jesus chose to fulfill that idea. In doing so the accusers, accusation that creation has no choice but to obey was made null and void.

Jesus has spoken to me about, “The necessity of freedom.” My freedom to chose or not, to worship or not, to obey not is all important. We do have a choice. It is our right and, Jesus chose to be crucified for the right of all people everywhere, saved and unsaved, to chose.

Thank God for the, “Necessity of freedom.”

God seeks relationship. He will meet as you are, where you are and accept you warts and all. Change nothing, seek relationship and the change comes and your old self melts away.
