Jesus, the Language of God, Hebrews:

1 Throughout our history God has spoken to our ancestors by his prophets in many different ways. The revelation he gave them was only a fragment at a time, building one truth upon another.a 2 But to us living in these last days,b God now speaks to us openly in the language of a Son,c the appointed Heir of everything, for through him God created the panorama of all things and all time.d

God has explained to me that both of these facts are still true. It is true that to hear from God we no longer require a prophet to hear His words. Although I will say, it certainly doesn’t hurt to hear Gods words through a prophet. We are now free and encouraged to approach the throne and speak with the Father as a son or daughter.

He does however still build truths upon truths in our education process. In my life I have struggled with things. Personal issues that go to the core of who I am. As a prophetic seer I struggle with a vivid imagination. Anything I focus on becomes a movie before my eyes. I have ask God why I focus on things that do me no good, or are harmful even to my spiritual well being.

Of course Paul explained it well in Romans 7

15 I’m a mystery to myself, l for I want to do what is right, but end up doing what my moral instincts condemn. 16 And if my behavior is not in line with my desire, my conscience still confirms the excellence of the law. 17 And now I realize that it is no longer my true self doing it, but the unwelcome intruder of sin in my humanity. 18 For I know that nothing good lives within the flesh of my fallen humanity. The longings to do what is right are within me, but willpower is not enough to accomplish it.m 19 My lofty desires to do what is good are dashed when I do the things I want to avoid. 20 So if my behavior contradicts my desires to do good, I must conclude that it’s not my true identity doing it, but the unwelcome intruder of sin hindering me from being who I really am.

God in His infinite wisdom is showing me how these issues are not linear. They have no beginning or end. They are webs, as I unwind one part of it, it comes at me from another direction. As I turn to face it, the web is reconstructed behind me. I find myself doing circles around the web, never finding a beginning or end. God is showing me that acceptance, not confrontation unwinds the web. As I accept these parts of myself and simply observe. Allowing God to come to bear on these issues, change occurs. My eyes are opened and the web is burned away.

Truth built upon truth allows us to see an ever bigger picture. Accepting what you see, even when its about ourselves, invites the King to bring about permanent change.

God seeks relationship. He will meet as you are, where you are and accept you warts and all. Change nothing, seek relationship and the change comes and your old self melts away.
